KeyDash
KeyDash is a free touch-typing game for schools, by SwiftTeach.
Students learn to touch type by playing. Typing speed and accuracy drive a
sprinter, a racing car or a spaceship, so practice feels like a game rather
than a drill. The text adapts to each student's reading age, from short simple
sentences up to advanced vocabulary, and a guided Training mode teaches correct
finger placement one lesson at a time with a colour-coded keyboard and hand map.
Teachers can create classes, print a login key for each student, and follow
progress across the year. A whole class can race each other live. It is built
for ages 7 to university and run at cost price as part of the SwiftTeach
Digital Programme.
